The Loom                                                                   Then it's time to saw the boards! I was originally going to create a loom using these but decided upon a simpler more portable design. I did use a part of one of them for the beater. The rest I have saved until it becomes clear to me what they will be for... Here I'm painting the ends. This keeps the wood from drying out to rapidly and cracking or "checking" as it is called. The newly sawn boards...  This tree grew beside the stream and accumulated a great deal of energy.
