More work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma!  Here I'm continuing work on the hands...

I've created more of the fingers and increased the angle of the thumb to the rest of the hands. Some technical items...The thumbs are at a 45 degree angle to the hand much as the shoulders are to the torso so I've tried to create this here.  If you close your hand you notice that the finger tips come together naturally as part of the hand's function so I've begun to position the armature wires in this way.  Some more views...

I've tried to develop the palm a bit and establish the arc at the base of the fingers .  With the arrival of warmer temperatures the towels begin to mildew a bit so they need replacing so I've added another towel!

The transition from the forearm to the wrist and hand looks quite graceful I think!  I am trying to convey both Tara Drolma's  gentleness and resolute purposeful nature.
