Through My Eyes

Continuing the work on  the sculpture of Tara Drolma!  I've built the edge of the sculpture table for the base!  Basically I just took some siding, the boards that cover the outside walls of house, and cut them into strips. I just use a handsaw to cut them lengthwise or   rip them as it's called . It's fairly simple when you are used to it. Then I cut them to length, or crosscut them and attach them to the stand.

As we can see I'll have to redo some of the water modelling since the clay will actually be somewhat thicker. I'll work more on the figure of Tara Drolma as the base develops. Things are progressing wonderfully!
