Through My Eyes

Continuing work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma! Here I've built up the water level a bit and modelled in some of the waves and fabric.

![]() I've done more modelling on the gesture of the hand . It actually looks like she is assuming the mudra or hand position associated with her although generally the middle finger is touched to the thumb for this. I'm trying to depict her firmly grasping the cloth to pull it up from the current.

![]() I'm trying to depict Tara Drolma grasping the cloth to pull it up from the current with both gentleness and tenacity. Though the current surges about her she is careful with the sacred shamanic cloth for it is the steady patient effort that brings about the benefit to Tibeans in a land in turmoil!
