Through My Eyes

With all the work on the website and  in the Grove after the rains I haven't had a chance to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma. I still haven't gotten to creating the booth for our Tibetan movies but I have some thoughts on it's construction!  It could be made of sheets of a thin luan plywood then spray painted black. Or I could put together a  frame of electrical conduit like the stuff I use for fence posts in the Grove. Then I could get some black fabric and stretch it over the frame. The whole thing would be easy to assemble on site and  quite light with either design!  I thought we could show a few short movies of our own along with them as short trailers for fun.

I tried a few but as I mentioned they weren't of high enough resolution to be projected on a big screen. The other thing I thought might be fun is if I got a video camera and read from some of our poems and pages in a movie!  It will take some experimenting to figure all these things out.
