Through My Eyes

                                                                                                                                            *

I haven't had much chance to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma this week since the outreach events and work in the Grove have occupied much of the time. I thought I'd bring us some more pictures of some of the places we've been going!

Here is the approach to the cliffs...

 Heading up the rocky stair...

  the road beneath the cliffs.

Here's the outreach gear!  We can see the spindle!  We can also see my gloves and a Windhorse shirt. It was rather cold when this picture
was taken so I wasn't able to actually wear the shirt then and I had to put on the gloves to warm up my fingers now and then!

A spirit tree!  In general this is a powerful place although the energy is more undifferentiated which is as best as I can describe it.
In other words the presence of  great shamans or spiritual masters hasn't altered the energy of the place as in of Tibet. There are lots of wondrous spots here though!

Deep caves formed by great slabs of rock that tumbled from the cliffs...

Here we're in a lot deeper!

There are many wondrous forms here...

  carved into the stone...

terma perhaps!  Soon we'll have outreach events at yet another wondrous location. It is a humble yet powerful place where a great spiritual master of India lived and where his practitioners still carry on the lineage.
