Through My Eyes                                                                                                                                                                                           *  More work on the hair of Tara Drolma!  On this side of the hair I tried a somewhat different modelling technique this time... We can see the deep shadow beneath the hair from the deep space beneath it. This is called undercutting in sculpture. I'm trying to get the feeling of her hair streaming back from her forehead onto her shoulders. Once the feeling of the hair's weight and texture is there I'll work on the upswept parts flying in the wind and the headress and braids!  The undercut helps to create the feeling of the hair but it still looks a bit heavy. I'll try smoothing the curve a bit but I don't want to make the section thinner or it will lose strength.
