Through My Eyes

With all the catching up after the trip to Idaho I haven't had the chance to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma. I did get an electric heater to keep the clay from freeze cracking though!  Here it is...



It's quite compact!  




Normally as we know Tibetans don't heat their rooms and windows are often open to the outside. They simply wear more clothes and drink lots of butter tea! I have it turned to it's lowest setting, just enough to keep the room above zero degrees Fahrenheit  -18 degrees Celsius which is the temperature at which the clay begins to crack. It is running steadily now as we can see!
